Certified Medication Technician (CMT) – 20-Hour Course. Approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing This state-approved 20-hour course trains Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to safely administer medications in assisted living and residential care settings. Taught by a Registered Nurse instructor, the course covers medication administration, documentation, safety protocols, and legal responsibilities. Upon completion, students are eligible for certification through the Maryland Board of Nursing. Requirements: Must attend all 20 hours. Perfect for those looking to grow in the healthcare field.
